Three days of fault finding on Bochu, Cypcut and ZY68 systems: reading alarms, tracing wiring, testing servo drives and sensors, restoring parameters and backing up a machine.
What You Will Be Able to Do
- Work safely in a live cabinet and isolate correctly before touching anything
- Read an alarm and trace it back to the component that caused it
- Follow a wiring diagram from the controller to the motor and the sensor
- Test servo drives, limit switches, relays and IO points with a multimeter
- Back up and restore machine parameters so a repair never loses the settings
Who Should Attend
- Maintenance technicians and electricians
- Service engineers
- Anyone who currently calls for support on every alarm
Course Outline
-
Day 1 Safety, the cabinet and the signal path6 hours
- Electrical safety, lock-out tag-out and working near a laser source
- Cabinet tour: main switch, drives, PLC or motion card, IO modules, 24 V supply
- Reading the machine wiring diagram like a map
- Grounding, shielding and why a bad earth causes random faults
- Measuring correctly: continuity, voltage under load, and signal versus supply
-
Day 2 Motion, sensors and alarms6 hours
- Servo drives: enable, alarm codes, tuning basics, overload and following error
- Limit switches, homing, encoders and what a lost position really means
- Height sensing, proximity sensors, pressure switches and flow switches
- The alarm list on Bochu, Cypcut and ZY68 and what each family points to
- Guided fault finding on rigs with hidden faults
-
Day 3 Parameters, backups and the repair report6 hours
- Machine parameters: what they control and which ones must never be guessed
- Backing up the controller, the drives and the parameter file
- Restoring after a board or drive replacement, step by step
- Software updates: when to do them and when not to
- Writing a repair report that the next technician can actually use
Machines and Tools You Will Train On
Bochu, Cypcut and ZY68 controllers, servo drives, IO modules, wiring diagrams, multimeters and oscilloscopes, deliberately faulted training rigs.
Prerequisites
Electrical safety knowledge and comfort with a multimeter.
